This policy explains what information American LED Pro collects when you use americanledwholesale.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.

Who we are

What we collect

When you place an order

Your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order. We need this to take payment, ship your goods and provide support.

We do not see or store your card details. Payments are processed by our payment provider, who handles card data directly. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and the last few digits of the card.

When you contact us

If you use a contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number where given, and your message, so we can reply. Form submissions are handled by Contact Form 7 and WPForms and are stored in our website database and emailed to us.

When you create an account

Your email address, a password (stored encrypted — we cannot read it), and your saved addresses and order history.

Automatically, when you browse

Our website records standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them. We use Burst Statistics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not track you across other websites.

We also use caching and performance services (NitroPack, WP Rocket) which process technical request data to serve pages faster, and Akismet to screen form submissions for spam.

Cookies

We use cookies for three things:

  • Essential — keeping items in your shopping cart, keeping you logged in, and processing checkout. The site does not work without these.
  • Preferences — remembering choices such as recently viewed products or your cookie consent selection.
  • Analytics — understanding which pages are used, in aggregate.

You can manage your cookie choices through the consent banner on the site, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent checkout from working.

Why we are allowed to use your information

  • To fulfil a contract — processing and shipping the order you placed.
  • Legitimate business interest — responding to enquiries, preventing fraud and spam, and understanding how the site is used.
  • Legal obligation — keeping sales and tax records as required.
  • Consent — where you have opted in, for example to marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver your order or run the site:

  • Payment providers — to process your payment.
  • Shipping carriers and freight companies — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver.
  • Our web host and email provider — who store the data on our behalf.
  • Our accountants — order and invoice records for bookkeeping and tax.
  • Law enforcement or regulators — where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, as required for tax purposes. Contact form enquiries are kept for two years. Account information is kept until you ask us to close the account. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons
  • Send you a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Stop sending you marketing email

Call us on (972) 685-0112 and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights specifically, including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, so information you send is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to run the business.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly.

Children

This site sells commercial lighting products and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
